Communications Authority of Kenya (CA) through the National KE-CIRT/CC is mandated with developing a national cybersecurity management framework. In this regard, the Authority has put in place initiatives towards enhancing the national cybersecurity readiness and resilience through collaboration and partnerships with stakeholders in the cybersecurity value chain.
In furtherance of this, the Authority hosts an initiative dubbed the ‘CA Cybersecurity Fireside Chats’ which is a monthly event that brings together the local cybersecurity community to discuss emerging cybersecurity trends and practices. The event brings together an expert panel to discuss the topic of the day with audience participation through Q&A sessions.
The topic for this edition will be: “Growth of the DNS Ecosystem and its Impact on Technology”. The event will be held on 29th January 2020 at AFRALTI, along Waiyaki Way, starting at 3.30 pm.
